Privacy policy

This website is informational: there are no user accounts, input forms, comments, tracking cookies or analytics. Below is what data is still processed when you visit it.

2. What we process

Server logs. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). On every visit the server automatically records technical data (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) to deliver the page, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We do not receive this data in a form that identifies individual visitors and do not combine it with other data.

Cookies and tracking. We set no cookies of our own and use no analytics or advertising.

3. External services loaded by the page

• Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) – your browser fetches fonts from Google’s servers, so Google receives your IP address.
• OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation) – embedded maps on the home, café and “Explore Sarajevo” pages; when a map is shown your IP address is sent to their servers.
• cdnjs / Cloudflare – the map library (Leaflet) on the “Explore Sarajevo” page.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in displaying the site correctly and securely. These services have their own privacy policies.

4. Links to other sites

Links to Booking.com, Airbnb, Instagram and Google Maps lead to third-party sites, whose own privacy rules apply once you open them. Bookings are made only on those platforms; data you enter there is processed by them and by us as your host for the purposes of your stay.

5. Guest data

On arrival we collect travel-document data required by law to register guests’ stay and to calculate tourist tax. We keep it only as long as the law requires and do not pass it on to third parties except to authorities where required.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection, and the right to complain to a data protection authority (in Bosnia and Herzegovina: the Personal Data Protection Agency; in the EU: the supervisory authority in your country).
